Our client has leveraged QR codes for the property management fee to enhance customer experience, the QR code has been programmed and fully integrated with EnterpriseOne JD Edwards. which means when scanned would deliver just enough information and automate settlement by receiving bank file. With QR technology, allowing quick and secure digital payments to meet growing demand. Now, management fees can be paid by scanning the code on the invoices, curating a seamless and touch-free payment experience for the households.

Out client has enhanced the pickup process with better efficiency and traceability thru the enhancement on JD Edwards’s programs and the adoption of a new web based system with barcode/QR code technology.

In the JD Edwards, a customized material acquisition program is developed and a stock commitment mechanism is applied so that every request's required items can be secured in a predefined timeframe. A customized pickup form embedded with barcode/QR Code is generated from JD Edwards for the pickup processing. Tailor made stock analysis reports are developed for the purchasing team to keep track of the inventory level and the demands on the upcoming schedule, so that they can better control over the stock ordering.

In the new Pickup Processing System, which is a web based system empowered by dot NET core technology and MS SQL server; validation will be performed thru scanning the pickup form in order to alert the front-end personal for inappropriate pickup. Every pickup request will also be recorded so that the pickup history can be tracked instantly. The pickup processing system also has integration with JD Edwards so that the required information can be transmitted between them.

Different employees may need to have a valid license for their job based on the legal or job requirement. Our client has adopted a customized web based system for the maintenance of the license details for different employees. This License Maintenance System was built by using dot NET core technology with MS SQL server.

The license details of different employees of different departments are stored in a MS SQL server database, each department will be responsible for the maintainance of their own license.

The system contains a notification function, it will check for the license validitity in a daily basis. With integratoin to MS exchange server, it will send out the notification email to different personnel based on different situation, e.g. send to supervisor for 7 days before expired, send to supervisor and team head for 3 days before expired, send to supervisor, team head and department head for expired licenses...etc. With the configurable notification matrix, it can ensure the appropriate level of management will be get informed for the license status of the employees.

The system also has integration with other systems. The employees information is interfaced from the Workday System so that the employee information will keep updated and aligned with the HR system's records. The login credentials is based on the the Windows AD (Active Directory), it will verify the login credentials by against the Windows AD thru LDAP. Thus user can simply use their Windows AD account for login the License Maintenance System.

An Android based mobile app is developed for placing sales order directly. The front end personnel no longer restricted to access JD Edwards for sales order creation, they can place the sales order anytime with their mobile device. The apps also provide reordering of previous order, order status inquiry, account receivable inquiry...etc. The apps has largely increased working flexibility and speeded up the sales process for the front end personnel.

The mobile apps also have integration to JD Edwards thru different customized J2EE API which hosted in Tomcat server. With this architecture, the JD Edwards is much more secured as it will not expose to the Internet directly.

Out client has adopted the MS Power BI for presenting their projects information. With the Power BI, our client can now visualize their data in a graphic manner, including line/ pie charts, guage chart, data matrix...etc. By showing the summary matrix based on different customized grouping, user can get more insight from the current projects. By showing the critical figures in an executive section, user can get the overview instantly by just a glance.

Except the enhanced presentation manners, the web based nature of Power BI also enabled their personnel to access the report without location restriction. As long as the user got the Internet connection, they can access the report no matter they are onsite or offsite. To ensure the users are viewing they information that they need, both Static and Dynamic Row Level Security are adopted to filter the dataset based on user roles.

In order to support user to view the project information in different manner, Power Query and MS Stored Procedure are bothed used in the data transformation process. An interface is built between the JDE and the MS SQL server for synchornize the data regularly so to keep the data up to date, and MS On-Premises Data Gataway is setup in the MS SQL server for the Power BI Web to refresh the data according to client pre-set schedule.
